Someone told me :

" It's a Blessing to be born Poor ! "

and so I looked at him in surprise, he continued...

" Give a sweet to a poor boy and to a rich boy...who will be the one grinning from ear to ear ? "

I finally understood what he meant and agreed whole-heartedly.

After soooooooo many months ( honestly, I have lost count ), I FINALLY got to meet up with...

Fion !!!!! Thought she has forgotten about me after having J by her side...Wahahaha :P Had our lunch @ Shokudo with Melvyn. If you have not try this Marche style Japanese food bazaar, then you better try this one of these days. Food is nice though a little expensive I feel :D Overall, a nice dining experience.

This Bacon & Cheese Omelette is OIISHIIIII.....

Been busy for the past few days with work and outings with friends. Just realised, I have still many friends whom I have yet to catch up with...gosh...shall organise something soon :D. Shall continue with...

PARIS ( II )

Day Two

After much persuasion, I finally able to get my teammies and Melvyn to have lunch with me @ Leon !!!!!

BIG Pots of mussels in different sauces awaiting us....Yummy Yummy

Interesting eh...Agnes B Perrier Water :P

Decided to walk all the way from our hotel to Champs Elysee then to the Louvre after our really sumptuous n sinful ( wonder how much bad cholesterol we have gained after eating sooooooo many mussels ) lunch.

Arc de Triomphe

Along the very crowded Champs Elysee :D

Wah Lau...Caught in Action for Peeing in Public...Shugz. *Shy + Blushing*

Sook & I near the Louvre Museum...I dun remember seeing the Ferris Wheel the last time I came...wonder when did they build one there ? But anyway, it does complement the surroundings eh.

The 2 lovely birds :P

Doesn't this looks like we are in some University...Wahahaha.

The weather was real good and sunny...so the sunbathing begins....

Finally, we arrived at the Louvre Museum...

Decided to take some 'Jumping' Shots with moi camera...

First few trial shots...Testing 1,2,3....

Obviously, Monica failed @ the 1st few attempts

Finally, she got it :D

And we Love it :P

However, in order to take a 'Jumping' shot with the 3 of us in it, We try using the custom timer

Obviously, all attempts failed. Reason being...We were not too sure when the flash will come on...and when we realised, either we had landed or just started. As you can see in the last photo, we gave up after a few unsuccessful shots...Jumping up and down umpteen times can proved very tiring...look at the 2 gals' Shag faces :O

So we decided to take it manually then...

Sook & Monica....Shot by yours truly

Monica & I jumping excitedly...Shot by Sook :D

Due to time constraint plus the fact all of us have been to the Louvre Museum, we did not enter the museum this time...so no Mona Lisa for you guys...wahahaha. If you wanna see, let me know cos I have a few which I took the last time when I was in. BTW, the museum is really hugh and its kind of impossible to finish it within a day if you really see each and every artifact in it.

Other Shots which I took while walking back to Champs Elysee...

The gals was discussing what to do next and Monica was contemplating on her Bottega Veneta Bag :D

Attractions in Paris...The Tour Eiffel n a cruise along the Sein River

Can't remember what bridge this is...but its quite popular...Nice right :D

After much 'stirring' from us,

Monica finally got her bag from Bottega Veneta...Kudos...and I miss my Prada Shoes :(

Woahhh...Finally, I managed to clear part of my wardrobe to make way for my new clothes...Woohoo~... Realised that I have lots of old clothes that I wouldn't be wearing anymore. Guess I will donate them to Charity rather than to just dump them into the bins eh.

That's how I spent my Sunday...Sad right ? Nevertheless, it's time to tidy up my messy little room. Gonna spent the remaining off days that I have this week to finish the task. Realise that I machiam like Garang Guni...so many junks in my room....time to get rid of them. Plus the dust is like 1 inch thick...alright, I am just kidding and that I am not as unkempt as you think so k :D

Didn't manage to have my picnic under the Eiffel Tower during my last Paris trip but my dream came true this time...thanks to my favourite teammies.

PARIS ( I )

Day One

After a 2-hour nap, we met up and went to the Vietnamese joint to have our lunch...

Had this Tomato Fried Rice with Beef...tell you, it looks simple here but the taste is simply out of this World...That's why Andrea is crazy over it. It's really really tasty !!! Anyway, Sook claimed that she can cook this...shall see if she's telling the truth when I meet her the next time.

Took the Metro after our lunch to Champs Elysee where the gals went crazy over LV etc etc...

Metro : Nice Signage

Monica, Sook & I in front of the World's largest LV store ( Flagship ) in Champs Elysee.

While looking around in LV, I could feel someone trying to unzip my bag...Fortunately, I discovered it fast, or else I may end up losing some of my stuff in it...Phew.

Were strolling along the smaller streets when we observed that the Parisian park their cars very close to one another ( parallel parking ) so close so that ...

they kissed one another...even the cars are sooo romantic like the people there...wahahaha. If this happens in Singapore, well, you and I know what will happen next ><

Going crazy over the Eiffel and thus the camwhoring begins :P

Guess who else went Paris with me ? Melvyn !!!!!!

Sook & I :P

The foursome ( Myself, Joanne, Monica & Sook ) who went picnic-ing under the Eiffel

Love this shot.

Our Dinner... Kuah Lapis from Jakarta, Boursin (Garlic) cheese from Paris, Butter Cookies from Tokyo, Hanuta from Frankfurt, Mesclun salad & Tuna spread from Singapore etc etc etc. What a sumptuous Picnic spread :P Thanks to everyone for the contribution :P

The Group shot before we began to tuck in.

Had nothing better to do and so we decided to take funny pic using the custom timer of my camera.... Damn Funny :D

4 shots ( 3 sec apart )

4 shots ( 5 sec apart )

I really love the above shots...Our expressions & pose were really priceless. Love it to the MAX :P

We really enjoyed the Picnic...We sat on the grass for about 3 hours...enjoying the sumptuous spread, chatting, people watching and camwhoring. It's really enjoyable...how I wish I could have this type of activity often :D I guess its the company that's important :D

Before I end this entry...

Eiffel Tower...Different Shots @ Different time @ Different Locations :D

Part 2 coming up soon...

Gotta sleep soon...tomorrow I will my 1st Driving lesson...Woohoo~~~~ So excited :P
