NEW YORK ( 05- 07 Aug ) - Part III

So guess what's on our agenda for our last day in New York ?

Chocolate coated Strawberries...The Gals' Favourite...and it doesn't come cheap...A Big Strawberry cost US$6 + ( approx S$ 9 ) if I remembered correctly. Well, it's coated with Godiva Chocolate.

Since having Chocolates alone cannot satisfy our groaning stomach, we decided to head to Applebee's Restaurant after a lengthy discussion.

That marks the end of my 3 days 2 nights New York stay. Really enjoyed this trip although I did not do any sightseeing since I have been to most of the attractions on my last 2 trips. Most importantly is the company I had during the stay. The babes were a wonderful bunch of people. Anyway, I did not spend a lot in NY...just a polo tee and 2 t shirts...the rest are spent on food...kinda of glad that I managed to spend well below my budget and hence save a lot :P Though I just came back from New York, I can't wait to visit it again soon.

Anyway, the weather in New York is just nice. Although it's really hot especially in the afternoon, it's still quite comfortable to walk under the hot sun despite the high temperature. Unlike in Singapore, the moment you step out of your house, you feel like you are melting :D

FRANKFURT ( 8 - 9 Aug )

Spent about 2 days in Frankfurt before heading home.

Had lunch at this very popular Pasta cafe near our hotel after we checked in at our hotel.

That marks the end of my 8 days Frankfurt and New York trip. To round this up, I truly enjoyed my stay and really hope to be able to visit New York again real soon.

Finally, I manage to find some time to update this blog while in Milan. Thought that I would stay in my room most of the time during my stay here BUT I was absolutely wrong !!! In fact, most of my time were spent outside the room for the past two days !!! And YES, I went to beautiful and romantic Venice with 3 pretty babes plus I managed to explore the Duomo area in downtown Milan :D Supposedly to join them for the Lake Como tour today but decided to give it a miss as I was too tired and chose to rest and relax in my comfortable and cozy room. Glad that I made the right decision because it is raining very heavily right now. Wonder how those people who went to Lake Como are coping with the rain. Phew :D

The Internet connection here is really fast....it took me less than a minute to upload 5 photos at a time onto this blog compared to 3-5 minutes back home. Shiokness ! Shall download more movies/MobTV later :D

NEW YORK ( 05 - 07 Aug ) - Part II

Took the subway to SoHo after we had our breakfast. Maybe we were still stoned cos of the jetlag or cos of insufficient sleep...we actually took the train in the opposite direction :(

Went back to the hotel for a short rest before meeting up again for dinner. Ling joined us this time and we walked all the way from our hotel to Times Square ( just a few blocks away ) to have dinner @ the much talked about Bubba Gump.

"Stop Forrest Stop" means the waiter/waitress will attend to you. "Run Forrest Run" means you need no service and thus no one will stop by your table to attend to you :D Really a very great idea :D

Had my 3rd Driving Lesson this afternoon....Guess what...my instructor allowed me to drive to the main road....Wahahahaha...A surprise for me as I thought in order for one to drive on the main road, one needs to attend a few more lessons. Anyway, did 'Kapara' a bit here and there but were satisfied with my overall performance considering that it was raining so heavily that I could hardly see what's in front of me...Also I must thank those considerate drivers who were behind me for being so patient with me :D Just love my driving lessons...so Fun...Hope I can get my license soon :D

Due to a very last minute arrangement, I am off to Milan tonight...Yippie !!!

Still contemplating if I should go Venice... Anyway, must find my khakis first before I decide :D

If not, I will just stay in my nice hotel room and relax, eat the yummy pasta at the nearby joint and just wander around Milan.

Will put up more photos of my New York and Frankfurt trip when I am in Milan ( Free Internet...Wooohoooo~ ) if I have time that is :D

Suddenly, I realise that I have yet to put up photos of my Prague and Berlin trip back in May....Oooopss...I guess I have no time for that at the moment...Shall see what I can do.

Woah...Judging from my last entry, it seems like I have been missing in action for almost 2 weeks !!! Well, I was out of town...this time to the other end of the globe...the Big Apple. Haven't been to New York for almost a year and was looking forward to this trip. Think of skyscrapers, shopping and food....Woooohoooo....can already make me so high :P. Guess I am a very city person who loves Hong Kong, Tokyo, New York etc etc. Hahaha...

New York ( 05 - 07 Aug ) - Part I

After checking in our hotel in Manhattan, Fritia, Priscillia and I met up @ the hotel lobby and walked a few streets down to have lunch @ the AppleBee Restaurant. Since my virgin trip to the restaurant in San Francisco in July last year, I was 'addicted' to the delicious food and have been wanting to have my meals at the restaurant again. Though I was in New York in August that same year, I did not have my meals at the restaurant even though it is just next to my hotel. Thus I tell myself this time that no matter what, I must have my AppleBee food :D

And so my wish comes true this time...A sumptuous and delicious AppleBee meal with 2 pretty babes :P:P:P...What more can I ask for ? A Very Satisfied and Happy Boy :D

Though we were all stoned and tired due to jetlag, we still decided to wander around after our lunch before calling it a day.
